Expertises
Our expertise lies in responding to all types of requests from researchers (pressure, temperature, test volume, fluids, measurement methods, materials), guaranteeing safety with regard to pressure risks and even explosion risks, and incorporating ease of use and long-term reliability.
Pressure vessels
Our primary area of expertise, consolidated by 40 years of experience, is the calculation and design of pressure vessels for research purposes. These needs often vary greatly from one researcher to another, and their criticality evolves as the research progresses.
Working according to customer specifications in the field of high pressure means
Perfect mastery of DESP 2014/68/EU and mechanical calculation codes for volumes with sometimes complex shapes and extreme conditions.
Have solid experience with corrosion in often novel applications
Ability to consult with notified bodies to find safe solutions to pressure risks when calculation conditions are extreme and outside the usual areas of experience.
Top Industrie offers pressure devices up to DESP Risk Category IV, thus covering all the full Pressure – Volume product spectrum.
We work with self-certification up to category III and with Module G assessment processes for categories IV with case-by-case certification.
We offer pressure devices according to the following parameters:
- Pressures up to approx. 7000 b
- Temperatures from -100 °C to approx. 1000 °C
- Internal volumes up to approx. 500 Liters
- Materials : stainless steels, duplex, superduplex, Hastelloys, Inconels, titaniums, sapphire, …
- Coatings/Inlays : PEEK, PTFE, gold, silver, tantalum, …
All pressure equipment falling within the scope of the DESP is delivered with the regulatory dossier.
Set ups & automation systems
Over the years, we have developed extensive expertise in turnkey installations, with more than 4,000 units delivered worldwide to date in a wide variety of research fields.
The installations are systematically designed around
The customer’s functional requirements and/or specifications for analysis/measurement techniques, handling facilities, etc.
Safety requirements with regard to pressure (DESP) and explosion (ATEX) risks, if necessary
Risk management shapes every project from the outset.
Every installation design begins with a functional analysis and assessment of the associated risks. This is formalised in a risk matrix that directly guides the technical choices made for our installations and automation systems. This approach allows us to anticipate critical situations and guarantee safe and controlled operations.
Automation systems designed for critical environments
Our control/automation softwares, based on functional/risk analyses, are specific to each project. SCADA-type systems react in real time and are capable of managing major risks, particularly in high-pressure (DESP) and explosive (ATEX) atmospheres, while ensuring the automated implementation of complex processes:
Automated sequences for preparing test environments
Controlled temperature (T) and pressure (P) ramps
Fine stabilisation of test parameters
Reliable and repeatable sampling functions
Integrated and secure emergency procedures
Functions enabling preventive maintenance
If necessary, we can integrate monitoring functions, allowing maintenance to be planned in advance.
These functions are useful for protecting particularly fragile equipment or for avoiding the loss of results for long measurement campaigns.
We work according to the European directives
All our installations are designed, built and documented in accordance with following directives :
– Machine 2006/42/EU
– Pressure Equipment 2014/68/EU
– Low Voltage 2014/35/EU
– EMC 2014/30/EU
– ATEX 2014/30/EU if required
Project Management
By choosing to establish a team of project managers, TOP INDUSTRIE has affirmed its desire to strengthen its competitiveness in the market by moving towards increasingly complex installations.
This strategic decision reflects an ambitious vision: placing efficiency, coordination and quality at the heart of its priorities.
A project manager appointed for each order
The project manager is the customer’s main point of contact from the moment the order is placed until the final delivery of the equipment.
Using a rigorous process guided by strict milestones, he coordinates the various departments within the company
- Mechanical Design Office
- Electrical/Automation Design Office
- Purchasing Department, Production
- Factory Testing
- On-site Testing
- Logistic
- Documentation,
- Training with the support of the technical management and quality department.
He interacts continuously with the client during important validation phases and can manage contract changes if the client’s needs evolve during the project.
In addition to significant client benefits, the project team helps to consolidate our experience on a case-by-case basis and fuels continuous improvement processes.
Innovation
For many years, TOP INDUSTRIE SA has cultivated special relationships with renowned researchers and experts in their fields.
These collaborations, often born out of specific projects, are an important source of innovation and technical progress for us. By working hand in hand with laboratories, universities and research centres, we have the opportunity to co-develop unique technical solutions tailored to new challenges.
The partnerships are not limited to theoretical exchanges: they are put into practice in the field, during the implementation of client projects; providing opportunities to develop processes, materials or methods that push the boundaries of what already exists.
We are particularly proud of these collaborations because they also demonstrate the trust that the research community, both academic and industrial, places in us, and our ability to transform bold ideas into concrete achievements.
